Adam’s BBQ Vegan Kale Ribs

I spent the day today in Vancouver sharing the Power of Food with another amazing corporate client of mine. I showed everyone how to make some amazing treats during their High Energy Snacks workshop. What a great group.

On the way down I was snacking on my BBQ Vegan Kale Ribs. I was asked by many people to share the recipe on how to make kale ribs. Here it is below.

ENJOY!

Adam’s BBQ Vegan Kale Ribs
1 bunch of kale
pinch of Himalayan crystal salt
pinch ground pepper
 ½ teaspoon cayenne
¼ cup raisins
¼ goji berries
¼ sesame seeds
¼ cup brazil nuts
1 teaspoon ground caraway seeds
How To Prepare

Soak for 1 hour the raisins, goji’s and brazil nuts in enough water to just cover. Then blend in a food processor with the water and all other ingredients. In a large bowl place your chopped kale and the mixture. Toss your kale chips with the mix until covered.

You can place your chips on a dehydrator if you have one and leave them overnight at 115. If you use an oven, be sure to bake them at the lowest temperature on your oven for 20-30 minute.

Let me know how it goes in the comment section below!

Hey Adam!  It’s been a long time!  Great to see you doing so well :)   Love your site!  I like the idea of “BBQ Kale Chips”….I’ve made Kale chips in the past using sea salt but…found it to still have a dull taste to it.  Going to try your recipe above :)   Thanks!  Take care :)
