Split Pea Soup

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups of split peas
1 organic bouillon cube
5 cups of water
6 large carrots - diced
1/4 cup grated ginger - minced
1 large onion - diced
6 cloves of garlic - minced
1 tblsp Himalayan crystal salt
2 tblsp ground black pepper

How to Prepare

Bring water to a boil and add all the ingredients. Simmer on low/medium heat with lid over pot for 30-45 minutes. Puree with a hand blender until desire constancy is reached. Freeze any leftover soup to eat when in a hurry.

Recipe Tip

Increase the nutritional value of this soup by adding either quinoa, brown rice pasta or ground nuts of your choice to teach bowl.
