Stuffed Butternut Squash
Smooth, creamy and delicious, who knew butternut squash could be so enjoyable! Now you know. Try this amazing recipe and discover the abundant flavor and nutritional power in every bite.
Ingredients
1 tblsp of each flax, hemp & sesame seeds
1/4 cup cranberries
juice of half a lemon
1 tsp mustard
1 butternut squash
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tblsp basil chopped
1/2 cup sun flower seeds
1/4 cup sun flower seeds ground
How to Prepare
Cut squash in half and remove seeds.
With a fork, make small holes through out the entire inside of the squash.
In a small mixing bowl place lemon juice, olive oil, basil and mustard.
Using a spoon, pour mixture all over the holes.
Bake face up for 45 minutes at 350.
Test with a fork. Once the fork pushes through eas ily, the squash is ready to eat.
Place all sunflower seeds and cranberries into the top of the squash and serve.
