Yummy Kale Chips
Do you spend too much money of crap food? I know I used to. Not only is this kale chip recipe ideal for increasing the protein, calcium and iron content in your diet, but the cost of making a bags worth is a fraction of what it costs for those salty, flavored chips that do nothing for your health. This savory recipe is so easy to make that you have no excuse not to give it a try.
Kale is my top choice for healthy dark green leafy vegetables. With all its protein and high powered iron and calcium, kale is a super food I love to use in many recipes. I know you will enjoy these kale chips. Watch the video and then give them a try.
Ingredients
1 bunch of kale
2 tblsp lemon juice
1 tblsp stone ground mustard
1 tblsp ground black pepper
1 tblsp grated ginger
How to Prepare
Chop kale into chip size pieces. Place all ingredients (without kale) into a bowl and mix. Now place all kale into the mix. Be sure to coat each piece with the mixture. Next you want to place the kale onto your dehydrator tray and dehydrate for 12 hours. If you do not have a dehydrator you can lay the kale out on a baking sheet and bake at 175 for two hours with the lip of the oven open.
